To achieve the best results, we recommend gently massaging the treated areas about five times a day for five minutes each, for approximately five days. This massage helps to evenly distribute the material and promotes a natural result. Additionally, avoid intense sun exposure, heat, and strenuous physical activities during the first few days.

Radiesse®, traditional fillers, and Sculptra® work differently to address individual skin needs. •  Applying so-called cool pads or cold compresses to the treated areas can help reduce swelling. Swelling and redness after a treatment are normal, but if they persist, please inform your doctor.
•  In the first days following the treatment, the treated area may feel a bit firmer. Gradually, the skin will become softer, and the results of the treatment will become visible.
• Most patients can resume their normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. However, please follow your doctor’s recommendations.

• After the treatment, you may gently apply makeup, provided there are no medical objections. Please wash your hands thoroughly beforehand.

• The treated area can also be cleaned a few hours after the procedure. Avoid applying pressure or rubbing the treated area too hard.

• You should refrain from extended sunbathing, UV exposure, sauna, hamam, or extreme cold until any redness and/or swelling has subsided.

• Radiesse® contains an immediately effective component for volume and contouring and promotes the long-term production of your body’s own collagen, which tightens the skin. If you smoke heavily, are female and in menopause, or if you have a very active metabolism due to high levels of exercise, the immediate component may be broken down more quickly. In these cases, we recommend a follow-up treatment after about 8-12 weeks.
